Picture This Gallery is proud to announce their donation of $1485 to Wild North – Northern Alberta Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, to help with injured birds and wildlife. As you can see in the photo, Ray the Great Gray Owl is excited!
Rollie and Carol LaMarche, co-owners of Picture This, presented the donation cheque to Kim Blomme – Director of Wildlife Services at Wild North, Dr. Gordon Court – provincial biologist, and Ray the Great Gray Owl. Ray is a 7-month old late delivery who wouldn’t have survived if he wasn’t rescued by Wild North.
This donation is made possible with the generous support of the attendees of the Robert Bateman evening. This brings the total donated to Wild North, combined with the proceeds from the previous Robert Bateman event, to over $2,500! Click here to view more photos from the Robert Bateman event.
Wild North, established in 1989, is committed to environmental stewardship and the care of injured birds of wildlife. Every year they care for over 2500 wildlife patients from over 150 different species, and provide long-term care at their rehabilitation centre.
