“This was a scene that I saw in Chester, Nova Scotia. Although it was a “no longer in use railway station“ there was a fellow sitting there – a retired railway worker, who came there from time to time, I suppose, to relax in familiar surroundings. I found the idea quite charming and painted it on returning home.”
