“As a gardener, I love the bees. I’ve also found myself attracted to painting a great variety of insects. I actually did this painting as a submission for a museum exhibition and was pleased when it was selected for BLOSSOM II ~ ART OF FLOWERS. I was even further honored when it was given an award! It’s been one of my favorite paintings and I chose it to be one of my works sent to the prestigious AMERICAN WILDLIFE ART Exhibition at the Allentown Museum in Pennsylvania. To be displayed literally beside Robert Bateman, Paul Mansfield and Carl Rungius was so exciting. Only a select few living artists were chosen to be part of this exhibition highlighting North American Wildlife Art.”
