“Back in the early 70’s I was taking photos around rural Alberta. Near Shandro Alberta ( near Willingdon) there is a bridge crossing the North Saskatchewan river…before the bridge was built, there was a ferry taking people back and forth. The ferry mans house was very near there. Traditionally built as in the Ukraine or Poland.” – Marla Wilson
