“The Berendon Glacier just a few miles outside of Stewart, BC, has not yet experienced too much recession because of the enormous amounts of snow falling along the coast every winter. To get there one must drive into Alaska via the sleepy town of Hyder and then back into British Columbia on a perilous gravel road which yields stunning views of this and the neighbouring world famous Salmon Glacier from high above each of them. A remarkable and worthy destination for anyone craving adventure”
