I met this young Crow Indian girl in Canada and asked her mother if she could pose for me. She was very shy and that quality added so much charm to her appearance. She was very proud and felt all dressed up wearing old-style Crow dress that had been handed down from generation to generation – hence, the title, Sunday Best.’
