Alberta is blessed with year round beauty. But too often we forget that green is a color, and it’s the color of spring and new life—verdant is another way to describe it. And a walk through an aspen forest in May and June can be a treasured and hallowed experience. And I love those white, stately aspens that unabashedly announce spring in the forest. And I could paint them forever and never get tired.
