“While on vacation with my family in England, I was intrigued by an ancient tree which was fenced off and identified simply as ‘The Tree.’ Because we were in Sherwood Forest, I immediately imagined Robin Hood himself settled in the shade of this majestic tree.
“When I returned home, I kept thinking abou this tree and how wonderful it would be for a family to sit underneath its branches and quietly read a book together. Thus ‘Robin Hood’ was created. The father is reading to his family and they are being taken on a magical journey.”
