Like so many of the rural structures of the past, this little farmstead no longer serves any useful function, but it does excite artists and photography nuts who love its rough and colorful textures. And I believe that the present owner keeps it around as a testament to the charm and beauty and function those early homesteaders built into it. And I, as an artist, totally appreciate the opportunity to record on film and on canvas these rustic structures, magnificent in their own way.
