Artwork Description
“I was fishing in a boat not far from shore one late spring when I heard something not unlike the chattering of a sewing machine. A closer inspection revealed a marsh wren, tucked in the cattails, happily singing and chattering away for no apparent reason other than joy. Of course, he was probably looking for a mate, or defending a territory, but whatever the case, I find these kinds of small spaces and their inhabitants to be simply magnificent.”
