Boreal chorus frogs are characteristically associated with the coming of spring, when the world flushes green and full of life. Their song is easily identifiable and a strong connection to the changing of the season for many people. As part of the Joy Series, this piece invokes fresh scents of earth, the gentle sound of falling rain, and newness of life in brilliant shades of colour. It is one of my favourite times of the year.
