Artwork Description
“Occasionally as an artist I have an absolute serendipity, and such was my luck recently to be driving down the Medicine Lake road in Jasper, when I and some friends came across a huge dump of fresh snow. It was very spotty, and stretched for only a couple of kilometers along the road, but what was there was stunning. And it was near the end of the day and the pinks and violets illuminated the area for only a few short but gorgeous minutes. Needless to say, we had ourselves a rich photographic opportunity. In this painting you can see the Colin Range in the back ground along the eastern side of the Maligne valley.”
