“I was invited to participate in the “artists on tour” group show in Saskatoon. We decided to drive from the coast to the show and having not been to Saskatchewan before, were very excited to glean what I could from the road trip. I love Alberta and assumed that the rest of the prairies were much the same. I couldn’t be more wrong, the view from the windshield is a constant changing kaleidoscope of color, shape and texture. I hope I’ve captured some of that feeling in this piece i call heartland and for good reason.”
