Artwork Description
The work, “Dogwood Shrub”, was completed after observing the dogwood shrubs along the Elbow river in Fish Creek Park. The rich deep reds of their elongated leaves impressed me. I enjoyed rendering this beautiful shrub in an impressionistic style using loose brush strokes in brilliant colours.
