“I went back to my home town in Northern Ontario a couple of years ago for a high school re-union. While there I visited a friend who had a four acre wood-lot behind their home. It was a beautiful sunny day in October and we took a long walk on a path that meandered through the woods. This view of the back-lot maples caught my attention as we came to a clearing and liked the long shadows crossing the road.”
