Cristina Goia was working as a statistician in Toronto when the irresistible need to draw, significantly changed her life. She studied drawing at the Academy of Realist Art Toronto. Then Goia moved to rural BC where she found inspiration. She started painting in oil on her own, and continued under the guidance of several masters of contemporary realism. Goia presently lives on Salt Spring Island BC, in a small log cabin on 5 acres of land. She draws and paints the beauty all around.
