Artwork Description
During my 2009 Artists for Conservation Flag expedition to the Galapagos Islands I spent 40 days and nights studying and sketching the unique animals and plants of the archipelago.
I have kept a secret……….
To this day I believe that I may be the only outsider to have ever seen the rarest of all Galapagos creatures. While skillfully evading tourists they are both friendly and helpful in nature. For the local children they act as a sort of guardian angel whilst frolicking in the ocean. Introducing and unveiling publicly, for the very first time, here at PictureThis……. The extraordinary Galapagos Galapaduck.
