The prairies east of Edmonton hold some of the most charming relics of the past. And this barn and its other outbuildings showed signs of craftsmanship and beauty. But as the wisest man once said, “There is a time and a Season for Everything.” And the season of usefulness for this barn is now pretty well gone—-except to delight photographers, artists and lovers of abandoned buildings. For me it is always a pleasure to stumble on a find like this one situated in Lamont County, home to many a rustic treasure.
