Internationally
acclaimed wildlife artist, Terry
Isaac, grew up in the Willamette
Valley of Oregon, and it is
there that he began his love
affair with wildlife. Drawing
inspiration from his own
backyard and from the
captivating vistas of the
Northwest, he began to create
dramatic wildlife art. He now
calls Penticton, British
Columbia, Canada “home” and,
since moving, has continued to
create paintings capturing
unique characteristics of
wildlife and their habitat.
Terry travels around the world
to capture exciting images, but
his main painting focus
continues to be on North
American birds and mammals.

Night is dark and so, too, is the leopard.
Each is elusive, evoking a sense of mystery. Each has a magic all its
own. High in the night sky, the moon is a glowing orb, echoing the
luminosity of the leopard's golden eye. Even though the illumination
is faint and his coat a sleek black, traces of its spots briefly become
visible, just as he vanishes into the shadows of night.

look at gardens as treasures. I also find birds to be treasures as
well - the hummingbird being one of the finest. The male rufous is
finding interest in these day lilies in the morning light of a brand new
day"
